INTERNSHIPS: Internships lasting between two to six months are available from time to time for law graduates or recently qualified lawyers. Exceptionally, internships may also be available for law students at LLM or LLB courses in recognised Universities in Bangladesh or abroad. Interns are usually primarily engaged in assisting lawyers with legal research, drafting, attendance at client conferences and court hearings, database management and the preparation of presentations within and beyond the chambers on legal developments. A stipend is available to cover internships of over three months.
PLACEMENTS: Bangladeshi lawyers practicing abroad are also encouraged to apply for fellowships.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS: Volunteer positions for periods of one to three months are available for students enrolled in an LLM course. Volunteers usually have the opportunity to assist with legal research and database management, and may also attend court hearings and other public events in which members of chambers are involved.
